In recent years, the province has made major strides in upgrading its road network and infrastructure to support economic growth, accessibility, and safer travel for all residents. Over 6,000 kilometers of roads have been upgraded across Limpopo, including vital routes like: • The N1 Polokwane bypass – easing congestion and improving freight movement. • The R37 corridor through Fetakgomo-Tubatse – unlocking access to mining regions and rural towns. This forms part of a larger infrastructure overhaul backed by over R26 billion in funding through the Municipal Infrastructure Grant (MIG) program. The goal: to improve mobility and access to basic services in every corner of the province.
